Vacation rental/holiday apartment in Usedom Island, Zinnowitz, Germany
The property, built in 1889, was the former Hotel Kaiserhof and had guests like Hans Albers (German actor and singer) and Wernher von Braun (rocket scientist). The glamour of history is still present in the noble architecture of the building and the large estate.
The house is neighboring other beautiful villas surrounded by proper gardens. The city center is about 5 minutes and the beach 8 minutes away.
Our house is situated amidst the lovely green nature at the beginning of the Wilhelm-Potenberg-Street in Zinnowitz. The listed building was costly renovated in 2003 to keep the former style of spa architecture.
Zinnowitz is one of the most popular spas on Usedom island with gorgeous white sandy beaches. It is the right place for a vacation all year around. Baltic Sea and Achterwasser Inlet, the dreamlike back-country with its wide-stretched forests and the marina invite for nice walks.
Enjoy your holidays in our stylish arranged holiday apartment. Have your breakfast on the terrace or in the garden, away from traffic and mass tourism. Feel the morning sun and listen to the chirping birds. The holiday apartment is new, stylish and comfortably furnished. It is arranged for up to 4 persons and has direct access to the terrace. There is a spacious living room with open plan kitchen and two sleeping options, a bedroom for two persons and a large bathroom with shower and WC.
The holiday apartment is situated in a quiet idyllic place directly at Usedom’s excellent network of cycling trails. Beaches and the city center with its many shopping and leisure options are only minutes away.
A sauna is available at the neighboring property, movie theater and tennis court are about 300 m away.

Description of area/town/village
|
Usedom island is located in the most northeastern edge of germany, about 200 km away from Berlin and 280 km away from Hamburg. It is the ideally place for sunbathers with its 1,900 hours of sun each year. The quality of water is tested regularly and rated with good to very good. During the winter you could use the Bernsteintherme, an indoor swimming pool about 15 minutes (walking distance) away from the holiday apartment.
Many resaturants offer fresh seafood and other culinary extras. You will find something for every taste.
The more than 180 km long network of hiking and cycling trails on the island invites for long walks and rides and for the evenings we recommend a nice walk along the up to 80 meters wide fine white sandy beaches of Usedom.

By train/ICE in direction to Stralsund. Change the train in Züssow and use the regional "Usedomer Bäderbahn" in direction to Ahlbeck and the border to Poland. Leave the train in Zinnowitz. During the summer there are direct trains between Berlin and Heringsdorf that stop in Zinnowitz.
By car coming from south intersect from autobahn A10 (Berlin Circle) to autobahn A11 in direction to Prenzlau and later to autobahn A20. Exit at "Pasewalk Süd" (Pasewalk south) and follow road B109 in direction to Wolgast and later road B111 in direction to Ahlbeck. Coming from north or west use autobahn A20, leave at exit Pasewalk south and follow the other roads as described above.
