Opua is the marine centre of the Bay of Islands, New Zealand. Home of a the large modern marine, it is a point of entry for overseas yachts. This small marine township has a safe swimming beach and interesting coastal walkways. It is five kilometres from the township of Paihia, the busy tourist hub and embarcation point for cruises, bus tours, and other adventures.
