House Lemon Creek
House Lemon Creek is situated in the beautiful nature hideaway of a fluvial topography where nobody would disturb you. It offers any kind of comfort for up to four guests: two bedrooms, large bathroom, large opening living/dining/cooking area, a cosy wood stove and a large deck. There is a wood stove sauna near the river and private places for swimming you only share with some beavers.
Just outside the estate the famous old Kettle Valley Trail, a former railroad, leads along the river so you can discover the whole valley by feet or bicycle. Bicycles are for free and there are rental canoes available. Your German hosts, who live on the same property, will be happy to provide you with information about the area and share the goods of the large fruit and vegetable garden.
The surrounding area offers many destinations for day trips: gorgeous hiking trails into the mountains with there alpine wild flower meadows, lonely spots for swimming in river or lake you can reach by foot or canoe, ghost towns from the silver age a hundred years ago, places with original flair, markets and arts and crafts galleries and the experience of hot springs in the outdoors.

House Lemon Creek is set on a gorgeous 50,000 sqm property at the river, covered by woods amidst the pristine peaceful nature of western Kootenay Rocky Mountains, one of the most scenic places in British Columbia. Located right between Vancouver and Calgary it is a day ride with a rental car from one of these international airports or by a domestic flight to Castlegar.
